Telmex International Private Line Service (IPL) is a superior dedicated circuit connecting two or more locations supporting simultaneous, two-way transmission of voice, data, video, or any signal that can be encoded digitally — in any combination — over dedicated terrestrial enabling customers to create their own private networks and to expand their reach.
IPL standard service provides fully managed, digital communications capacity from speeds of 64 Kbps up to 2.048 Mbps, 24 hours, 365 days a year, dedicated solely to each customer. Speeds greater than 2.048 Mbps, are available through the complex bid process. This broad range of available transmission speeds and variety of service options are “always on” to meet virtually any application need.
Among the most common applications that customers are allow to have are the following:
- Private Networks (interconnecting all sites)
- LAN to LAN Connectivity
- Data and image transfer
- Client-server environment - Access to centralized data-base
- Access to distributed data-base
- Connectivity to Information Providers
- Video/Audio conferencing
IPLService is available in three service types allowing customers to interconnect all their sites in order to reduce costs and at the same time optimize their operations ; international service , Intra-region (to and from most Latin America countries); In-country local (to and from any city within a Telmex Latin American country).

Depending on the customer’s needs and geographic location of its sites, IPL services will be provided over a combination of the company’s network and that of its affiliates. And in cases where the customer has a remote location, we will integrate a third party to provide a consolidated solution for all its telecommunications needs,
